Liverpool loan Sheyi Ojo to Wolverhampton for 2015-16 season

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo has joined Wolves on a season-long loan after signing a new long-term contract at Anfield.

The 18-year-old joined the Reds' youth set-up from MK Dons in 2011 and played 11 games during a loan spell at Wigan last season.

He has yet to play a competitive game for Liverpool, but has impressed in preseason, scoring the winner in Sunday's 2-1 friendly win at League One side Swindon.

Ojo is set to join up with Wolves for training on Thursday and will be eligible for their opening Championship match of the season at Blackburn on Saturday.

The teenager, who has played for England at under-18 level, was an unused substitute in the Reds' Premier League matches at Leicester and Burnley last season.

He told Wolves' website: "I'm looking forward to the upcoming season. Hopefully we can have a good year and push for promotion.

"It's a really good club. It's got great facilities. All of the players are nice, they have welcomed me to the club and the staff are brilliant as well.

"Everything's going well, I'm just looking forward to starting the season at the weekend."
