Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo set for Wolverhampton Wanderers loan

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo is being lined up for a loan move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, sources have told ESPN FC.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is prepared to loan out Ojo, who scored the winner in Sunday's friendly with Swindon Town, so that he can gain valuable first-team experience.

Ojo, 18, enjoyed a spell out on loan at Wigan Athletic last season, making 11 appearances for the Latics as he impressed at the DW Stadium.

The exciting attacker is highly regarded at Anfield but, although he was named on the bench twice last season, he is unlikely to break into the first-team this coming season.

A number of Championship clubs are thought to have sounded out Liverpool about a loan move for Ojo, but Wolves are leading the race to land the England Under-18 international.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is keen to bring a new left-sided winger to Molineux before the close of the transfer window after seeing Bakary Sako leave earlier this summer.
