Ron-Robert Zieler: Leicester City must not lose their Premier League focus

Leicester City goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler has warned his teammates to not to take their eyes off the Premier League.

The champions have 10 points from their four games in the Champions League but are 14th in the English top flight after losing at home to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday -- their first defeat at the King Power Stadium since September 2015.

Claudio Ranieri's side are only two points clear of Hull City, who occupy the highest of the three relegation places. They have won only three of their first 11 league games and could yet be dragged into a survival fight.

And Zieler, deputising for the injured Kasper Schmeichel, told kicker: "We need to make sure we don't forget about our day-to-day business in the Premier League."

He said Leicester's status as champions meant teams "chase us now" but added: "The top half remains our goal.

"Anything from 10th place upwards would be good, and the top third would be fantastic. "But those six teams up there are class, and they have bigger financial means."
