Andy King agrees to new four-year deal with Leicester City - sources

Leicester City midfielder Andy King has agreed a new long-term deal with the Premier League champions, sources have told ESPN FC.

ESPN FC reported earlier this month that Leicester were in talks with King over extending his stay at the club and those talks have gone smoothly.

King, who is the club's longest-serving player, has been rewarded with a new four-year deal to keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2020.

King has represented Leicester in the top three tiers of English football and has made more than 300 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2007.

The 27-year-old, who was part of the Wales squad that reached the semifinals of Euro 2016, has scored scored 60 goals for Leicester and is the highest-scoring midfielder in club history.

Leicester are keen to tie a number of their key men down to new deals this summer despite the loss of midfielder N'Golo Kante to Chelsea.
