Leicester set sights on Internacional's Eduardo Sasha - sources

Leicester City are among a number of clubs tracking Brazilian forward Eduardo Sasha, sources in South America have told ESPN FC.

Sasha has attracted the attention of several Premier League sides after impressing for Internacional over the last 12 months.

The 24-year-old is among the top goalscorers in Brazilian football this season, scoring six goals to spearhead Internacional's success in winning the Gaucho state title.

He has also hit two goals in six appearances in the league to help his club go joint-top of the table.

Clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with Sasha in the past, and now Premier League champions Leicester are also interested.

The Foxes are looking to add to their attacking options this summer in case they lose Arsenal target Jamie Vardy, and Sasha is on their radar with scouts having watched some of his games.

Italian side Fiorentina and Turkish champions Besiktas are keeping tabs on Sasha's progress, having also sent scouts to Brazil to watch the player in action.

Sasha, who has yet to win a cap for Brazil, holds a European passport, meaning he would have no problem moving to England if Leicester firm up their interest.
