N'Golo Kante to miss Leicester City's next two games with hamstring injury

Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante will miss the Premier League leaders' next two games with a hamstring injury.

Kante, who has played in all 27 of Leicester's league games this season, had to be substituted during Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich City.

Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri said after the game that Kante had been struggling with his hamstring and tests have since established that he is set to miss Tuesday's game at home to West Bromwich Albion and Saturday's trip to Watford.

Speaking at his news conference ahead of Tuesday's game, Ranieri said: "N'Golo Kante I think we'll lose for the next two matches. He has a little pain with his hamstring so I give to him some rest."

Andy King replaced Kante after 70 minutes against Norwich and Ranieri is confident the Wales international will be able to fill the gap in this week's games.

"We put King on and he plays very well with [Danny] Drinkwater," the Italian said. "I'm very confident in him."
