FC Porto snap up striker Aboubakar

Vincent Aboubakar's pace and power is a real asset for Cameroon.
Vincent Aboubakar made the squad for the 2014 World Cup.

FC Porto have signed Lorient's Cameroon international striker Vincent Aboubakar.

Aboubakar, 22, netted 16 league goals for a Lorient side that finished eighth in Ligue 1 last season and has been subject to plenty of speculation this summer over his future.

Indeed, Hull boss Steve Bruce  said only two days ago: "He is someone we are aware of and he is a very good player, but whether something materialises I am not sure."

The Cameroon stars has instead decided to continue his career in Portugal, and reports suggest that the club have paid three millions euros to secure a 30 percent share of his rights.
