Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has backed Erik Lamela to emerge as a star this season, after his influential contribution to his side's 2-1 win against AEL Limassol in the Europa League play-off tie. Pochettino admitted he was not a big fan of the Europa League during his time as Southampton manager, but he was relieved to come through his side's first big test in European competition.
