Brandao head-butts Thiago Motta

Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants Brandao to be banned for life after the Bastia striker head-butted Thiago Motta at the end of a French league match on Saturday.

- Ligue 1: PSG back to winning ways

After Bastia's 2-0 loss to PSG, Brandao waited for Thiago Motta in the tunnel and head-butted the midfielder, leaving him with blood running down from his nose.

Al-Khelaifi said the Italian had a broken nose, although the club had not disclosed any injury details.

Brandao immediately ran away toward his team's dressing room before PSG players could surround him.

Al-Khelaifi told BeIn Sport television that "he must be banned for life."

Motta will likely miss the next couple of games.

Brandao received a yellow card in the 31st minute for fouling PSG defender Marquinhos and was replaced in the 72nd

"If my player started the fight, that's not worthy of a professional and we will impose sanctions on him accordingly," Bastia coach Claude Makelele said.
