Levante to sign Real's Jesus Fernandez

Levante and Real Madrid have confirmed that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Jesus Fernandez from the Bernabeu.

Fernandez, who had been Madrid's third-choice keeper, will sign a two-year contract with Levante with an option for a further two, the club said on their official website.

Neither club has disclosed the fee involved in his move to the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia, but Levante will unveil their new signing on Wednesday.

Announcing the transfer, Real Madrid used Twitter to thank the 26-year-old Fernandez for "all his years of dedication and professionalism."
