Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri insists Arturo Vidal is "not on the market" having held talks with the player about his future.

Speaking after a goalless preseason friendly against Cesena on Wednesday, Allegri echoed the comments on Juve general manager Beppe Marotta who said on Tuesday that Vidal's future was not up for discussion.
"Vidal is not on the market," Allegri told Sky Sport Italia. "I've spoken with him and he's staying at Juve."
That is a sentiment echoed by the Bianconeri's general manager Beppe Marotta, who said: "He's our player and we improved his contract a year ago. We're happy with him and he's happy with us, so I don't think there will be any problems."
Reports in Chile contradict the Bianconeri's stance, however, with El Mecurcio claiming Vidal has already given his word to United and undergone an extensive medical in Turin in preparation for a move to the Premier League.
Marotta also confirmed the transfer of Romulo from Verona to Juve is almost complete, and the Italy international should be a Juventus player in time to join the club's preseason tour of Australasia.
"We've spoken with Verona this afternoon and I think he will be leaving with us," he said on Wednesday. "I hope he will join us."
On the other side of the world, Juve will continue their preparations for a fourth straight Serie A title challenge with Allegri pleased with the progress he has seen in his first few weeks at the helm.
"We're on the right track and we're trying to lay the foundations to be victorious," he said after the draw with Cesena. "Tonight was a good workout for us, considering we've only had the squad together for two days. The lads showed a good attitude.
"We didn't create a great deal, but the important thing is we don't have any injuries. We don't have long to prepare for the season, trying to concentrate into 25 days the work that would normally be done over 45. We just need to work with serenity."
