With OM looking to ease their wage bill, Valbuena, 29, is able to leave the Stade Velodrome this summer after eight years with the 1992-93 Champions League winners.

Though the France international -- who played a key role in Les Bleus' run to the World Cup quarterfinals -- would reportedly prefer a move to Spain after being linked to Valencia and Sevilla, Dinamo are favourites to sign him, according to French and Russian media.

The Itar-Tass news agency even claimed on Monday that the midfielder had agreed to the move, which would bring OM an estimated seven million euros.

However, speaking to Le Phoceen, Valbuena's agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, said of the rumours: "It's just a load of old rubbish."

Despite Bernes' denial, football365.fr said the deal would go through as the Russian Premier League outfit are willing to meet Valbuena's elevated wage demands in a three-year contract.#INSERT type:inline END#
