Abdennour joins Monaco permanently

Aymen Abdennour spent the second half of last term on loan at Monaco.

Monaco have signed centre-back Aymen Abdennour on a permanent deal following his loan spell at the Stade Louis II last season.

Abdennour, 24, joined the Principality club on loan from Toulouse for the second half of last term.

And the Tunisia international will now be looking to impress new coach Leonardo Jardim after penning a four-year deal with the French side.

"I've spent five very good months here in Monaco and I am very proud to be part of this project. The club is ambitious,'' Abdennour told Monaco's official website.

Meanwhile, Monaco have also revealed on that Fabinho will return for another season-long loan at the Stade Louis II.

The Rio Ave defender spent the whole of last term with the Ligue 1 outfit and has now agreed to do the same again for the upcoming campaign.
