Juventus have signed of PSG youngster Kingsley Coman and have registered his contract with the Lega Serie A in a move similar to the signing of Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Coman, 18, arrives on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain after his contract in the French capital expired in the summer. However, the Serie A champions will have to pay their Ligue 1 counterparts compensation for the years he spent in their youth development scheme.

Should the two clubs fail to reach an agreement, FIFA may intervene to stipulate a suitable fee.

Although those talks are continuing, Coman is free to begin training with the Turin club and is expected to link up with his new teammates on July 14.

The attacking midfielder has represented his country at all youth levels from under-16 through to under-19, and also appeared for PSG in the inaugural UEFA Youth League last season.

The Bianconeri were ordered to pay United 800,000 pounds when they signed the then 19-year-old Pogba in 2012.

Pogba had spent three years in the Old Trafford youth academy, featuring three times in the Premier League, while Coman has been on PSG's books for nine years and made his Ligue 1 debut last season.
