Swansea City have completed the signing of teenage Falkirk defender Stephen Kingsley.

The Welsh club announced on their website that the 19-year-old left-back had signed a three-year contract after successfully passing a medical.

Kingsley has already played more than 100 games for Falkirk after making his debut for them as a 16-year-old, and has also represented Scotland at under-18 and under-19 levels.

His Falkirk profile says: "Another great talent who has exploded onto the scene, Stephen possesses a great engine which gets him up and down the flanks."

He becomes the second arrival at the Liberty Stadium from the Scottish club, following in the footsteps of midfielder Jay Fulton, who arrived midway through last season.
