Cameroon suffered their third loss in as many games on Monday night when Brazil triumphed 4-1 to top Group A, with Mexico in second and Croatia third.

Head coach Finke, though, is already looking ahead to the next edition of the African Nations Cup, which will be hosted by Morocco next year.

He said at his postmatch news conference: "I have a contract to do my job. We have to rebuild on a number of things. In the last two or three years, Cameroon hasn't been that good.

"We're disappointed that we haven't won a match, but we gained experience. In general, we have to focus and concentrate on the next challenge in Morocco."

Reflecting on the loss to Brazil, he said: "The first half wasn't so bad. It's not the first time we didn't have focus during 90 minutes. We need to find the reasons for this.

"Brazil deserves this victory. They created more chances. We need to take our time and analyse all the reasons.

"The first half against Croatia was a little bit the same as today. We had a dignified match. We can't say that this has been a better match, and it wasn't enough.

"One needs to look at reality as it is. It is not enough for this competition at a World Cup."
