Milinkovic-Savic could earn Man United move

Transfer Rater: Lloris to Real Madrid

Hull agree fee to sign Jake Livermore

Jake Livermore helped Hull secure Premier League survival and reach the FA Cup final last season.

Hull have agreed a fee with Tottenham for midfielder Jake Livermore, who excelled on loan at the KC Stadium last year.

The England international will discuss personal terms at the KC Stadium as manager Steve Bruce hopes to tie up his first summer signing this week.

The 24-year-old will reportedly cost Hull around 6 million pounds, which would make him the third most expensive player in City's history after January recruits Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic.

Livermore helped Hull reach the FA Cup final for the first time last season and made 36 league appearances, missing only the two games against Tottenham, for which he was ineligible.

He formed a fine central-midfield partnership with his former Tottenham teammate Tom Huddlestone, who joined Hull from Spurs on a permanent deal last summer.

Livermore, who went on loan to Derby, Peterborough and Ipswich earlier in his career, was also linked with Crystal Palace.

He became surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane last summer when Tottenham signed midfielders Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen.

Hull suffered disappointment in the transfer market last week when former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott chose to join West Bromwich Albion instead.
