Thiago Motta open to Inter return

Thiago Motta has opened the door to a return to Inter Milan, even though the Italy international is comfortable at Paris Saint-Germain.

Motta, 31, has become central to PSG's ambitious project since his move to the French capital from Inter in January 2012, helping the side to back-to-back Ligue 1 titles in the last two seasons.

However, the Brazilian-born midfielder, like Italy and PSG teammate Marco Verratti, has often been linked with a move back to Serie A, where he played for Genoa and Inter between 2008 and his switch to France.

Though he only extended his PSG contract through to 2016 earlier this year, the former Barcelona man remains open to a return to the Nerazzurri, as he admitted to the media.

"At the moment, they are building a new team with a new president. I am very good at PSG, and I'm not thinking about changing club in the near future," Motta stated, though he did not rule out a transfer, adding: "Why not? You never know."
