Midfielder Daniele De Rossi and centre-back Andrea Barzagli also returned full training on Tuesday after skipping a day of practice with minor problems.
Buffon and De Sciglio were both absent for Italy's 2-1 win over England on Saturday.
Buffon hurt his left ankle and knee a day before the England game, and De Sciglio had an injured left leg.
Italy next face Costa Rica on Friday in Group D, then meet Uruguay four days later.
