Forfar's Chris Templeman is an injury doubt for their clash with Morton while Aaron James has been ruled out after taking a knock to the head at Ayr last weekend.

Manager Dick Campbell is looking for his men to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat at Somerset Park last weekend.

"Morton are a strong side however they are not unbeatable," he explained.

"We were really unlucky down at Ayr and if we play as well as we did in that game we can win this one."

Morton strikers Andrew Barrowman and Jamie McCluskey will miss out with respective hamstring problems.

Ton boss Jim Duffy has called upon his men to build on an encouraging midweek performance against Partick, despite going down 1-0.

Duffy said: "We showed how well we can compete and also keep our concentration against a good Premiership side on Tuesday. What we need to do now is transfer that level of performance to a league game away from home against a good Forfar side.

"They have experience right through their team and are strong at home but if we play like we did on Tuesday then we can win."
