Lazio: No PSG bid for Hernanes

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has said that the club have yet to receive an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Hernanes – a player he insists is not for sale.

Lazio have no intention of selling Hernanes

Hernanes, 28, who arrived in Rome from Sao Paulo in 2010, has been linked with a move to the French capital as the Ligue 1 champions look to build a team capable of Champions League glory.

However, despite such speculation, PSG have yet to make an offer for the playmaker, who is deemed as indispensable to the Serie A side.

"We will not sell Hernanes. [PSG director] Leonardo has not contacted me to discuss a transfer and they have not made an offer yet, but it's clear now how we feel about this," Lotito was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

"Lazio will not let go of Hernanes and the same can be said for our other stars. I am talking about [Senad] Lulic, [Federico] Marchetti and [Antonio] Candreva. Our only thought is to strengthen the squad even further ahead of next season."

PSG, meanwhile, have also recently been linked with Chelsea centre-back David Luiz and Lille left-back Lucas Digne, although the latter’s agent has played down talk of a move.
