Kathyrn Mayorga lawyers to meet with alleged Cristiano Ronaldo ex Jasmine Lennard

The lawyer representing Kathryn Mayorga, the woman who has accused Cristiano Ronaldo of sexual assault, said in a statement on Tuesday that he spoke with and will meet with a British woman who claims to be Ronaldo's ex-girlfriend.

Jasmine Lennard, who said she is a former girlfriend of the Juventus forward, published a long series of tweets last week that included a message to Mayorga and an offer to help with her defense in the case. Mayorga's legal team on Tuesday confirmed that they plan to meet her and listen to her claims.

Larissa Drohobyczer, one of Mayorga's lawyers, said in a statement that the second lawyer for Mayorga, Leslie Stovall, has spoken to Lennard, a British model and reality TV star. Lennard says she dated Ronaldo 10 years ago.

"I am responding to a number of press inquiries regarding Jasmine Lennard. I can confirm that Leslie Mark Stovall, Esq. has spoken to Ms. Leonard [sic] regarding Cristiano Ronaldo. Mr. Stovall's travel to London England will be based upon his discussions with London lawyer Jonathan Coad and his client Jasmine Lennard," the statement said.

In October of 2018, Mayorga filed a civil lawsuit against the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, alleging that he raped her in a Las Vegas penthouse suite nine years ago. Last week, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a warrant has been sent to authorities in Italy, to collect DNA from the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to discover whether it matches traces found on a dress belonging to Mayorga.

Ronaldo, 33, has denied Mayorga's claims and his legal team told The Mirror he has no recollection of meeting Lennard. Lennard claims she has been in contact with him for the last 18 months.

"He has not had a relationship with her and he has not had any contact with her, whether in the last 18 months as Ms Lennard suggests, or otherwise.

"The voice notes posted by Ms Lennard on social media are not of Mr Ronaldo. Mr Ronaldo will take appropriate legal action in due course."

Last week, Lennard published a long series of tweets, which included an offer to assist Mayorga's case against the Portugal captain.

"On that note and after much thought i am reaching out to Kathryn Mayorga and her legal team to offer my assistance in her rape allegation against @Cristiano please contact me. I have information that I believe will be beneficial to your case and I would like to help you," the tweet said.
