Juventus' Alvaro Morata hails superhuman Gianluigi Buffon

Penalty-save hero Gianluigi Buffon is superhuman, according to Juventus' latest match-winner Alvaro Morata.

The veteran goalkeeper made a last-gasp double save from Nikola Kalinic's spot-kick and Federico Bernardeschi's follow-up as Juve held on to claim a 2-1 victory at Fiorentina that almost guarantees a fifth straight Serie A title will go to Turin.

Substitute Morata had minutes earlier scored the goal that cancelled out Kalinic's response to a fierce first-half Mario Mandzukic opener and the Spaniard pointed squarely to one teammate when identifying the key moment of the match.

"We won here thanks to a save from a player who is just not human!" Morata told juventus.com.

"Scoring in the black-and-white shirt is beautiful, but now we have to concentrate only on winning the Scudetto.

"Claiming all three points at a place like this was not easy and Fiorentina proved that they are a great team, but when we play like this we are very difficult to beat.''

In fact Juve may not need to kick another ball before celebrating landing their latest Italian championship as defeat for second-placed Napoli at Roma on Monday afternoon would settle the destination of the title.
