Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira will not be included in manager Max Allegri's' 22-man squad to visit Bologna on Friday, a club statement confirmed.
The Germany international will instead stay behind in Turin as he works to recover from a muscle issue.

"Contrary to previous indications, Sami Khedira will remain behind to work in Vinovo," the club's statement said on Thursday.
Due to injuries, Khedira, who took part in Juve's Serie A-topping victory over Napoli over the weekend, has managed just 13 league appearances since joining the Old Lady on a free transfer from Real Madrid last summer.
Juventus have won 15 consecutive top-flight matches, and will face Bayern Munich in the first leg of their round of 16 tie next week.
