Max Allegri says Napoli still title favourites despite Juventus' form

Even with his side winning 10 straight games, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri says Napoli are still title favourites.

Juventus controlled Udinese 4-0 on Sunday to stay one point back of leaders Napoli in Serie A.

The Bianconeri haven't dropped points since Oct. 28, but Allegri insisted Napoli are the team to beat.

"Napoli are going at a remarkable tempo, so they are the Scudetto favourites for now, but there are still five teams up there who have a chance of winning the title," Allegri told Mediaset Premium.

"We missed many things in the first half of the season, but I was not worried because we changed so much over the summer. A period of adjustment was only to be expected. We still have a lot of work to do and can improve further.

"We need to work on our physique, but also on the quality of our football and not misplacing so many passes. We are already getting better, but must do more."

Allegri hailed the work of Paulo Dybala, who scored twice and helped set up the other two goals against Udinese.

"He has improved a great deal, but let's leave comparisons to one side. He can still do better, as everyone can," Allegri said. "I am happy with this squad, as the strength in depth means I can rest players."

Dybala said his performance on Sunday was one of the best of his career.

"I am happy because my free kick broke the deadlock, then we all did well to make the most of the situation," Dybala said.

"I had many wonderful moments in my career and this is one of the best, because we are second and I am scoring regularly for this great club.

"We want to continue like this and beat Roma next week, as we lost to them earlier this season."
