Paul Pogba says he won't leave Juventus - managing director Marotta

Juventus managing director Giuseppe Marotta says Paul Pogba has told the club he will not leave this summer.

Pogba is one of the most coveted targets in the upcoming transfer window, and speculation about the 22-year-old's future has been a constant this season, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City all linked to the midfielder.

Marotta, however, threw cold water on rumours of a Pogba move away from Turin, telling Corriere dello Sport that the talented Frenchman is not for sale in the eyes of the club and has expressed his desire to stay.

"Pogba is a player who several teams have asked about, but we have not adhered to any negotiation because we consider him fundamental to our project," Marotta said.

"The player is off the market if he doesn't say he wants to leave. The will of the player is fundamental in football and it will be for Pogba as well.

"I repeat, we do not want to sell Pogba and he said today that [he] will not leave. If in the future he shows the desire to leave us, we must support him while protecting our financial interests."
