Massimiliano Allegri to be offered new Juventus deal - report

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is meeting with the club's general manager Beppe Marotta in Turin with an extension of his contract reported to be on the agenda, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Allegri led Juve to a Serie A and Coppa Italia double in his first season in charge, while also guiding the Bianconeri to the final of the Champions League. The contract he signed last summer is due to expire in 2016, and it is reported the Turin club are keen to tie him down with a longer deal.

Allegri was seen entering the club's headquarters in Turin on Wednesday afternoon, together with Marotta and the club's sporting director Fabio Paratici.

Gazzetta expects Allegri to be offered a new contract until 2017 with an option for an extra year, while potential transfer targets are also likely to be discussed among the three men who are responsible for the composition of the Juve first team.

Paulo Dybala and Sami Khedira have already joined the Bianconeri this summer, but the priority now is shifting to convincing Andrea Pirlo and Carlos Tevez not to leave.

Both have just a year left to run on their contracts, but the former is reportedly considering a move to the USA while the latter is being linked with Atletico Madrid, before returning to Argentina next summer to end his career with Boca Juniors.
