Vidal staying at Juve, welcomes Sanchez

Arturo Vidal has insisted he has no intention of leaving Juventus and urged Chile team-mate Alexis Sanchez to join him in Turin.

Vidal and Sanchez share the same agent in Fernando Felicevich, who is reportedly due to hold talks with Juve officials regarding the futures of both of his clients.

Vidal, who has become a key member of Antonio Conte’s side since arriving in Turin in 2011, has recently been linked with a move away from the club, with Manchester United believed to be interested.

However, the Chile international has stated that he has no plans to depart and is determined to see out his contract with the Bianconeri.

“I promise that I will stay at Juve,” he said, according to the Italian media. “I still have a three-and-a-half-year contract and I am very happy in Turin.”

Meanwhile, according to the Italian press, Sanchez, who has found life tough since joining Barcelona in a big-money deal from Udinese in 2011, is attracting interest from the Italian champions.

And Vidal has welcomed a move that would see him link up with his compatriot.

“I’d be happy if he was here at Juve,” he said.
