Italy winger Antonio Candreva has been ruled out of Italy's Euro 2016 game against Spain in Paris on Monday. Candreva suffered a thigh injury during the 1-0 win over Sweden in Italy's second group game and missed the 1-0 defeat to Republic of Ireland. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) confirmed on Twitter that the Lazio player would sit out the round of 16 game against Spain. Italy coach Antonio Conte could now bring in Roma's Alessandro Florenzi or play Roma's Stephan El Shaarawy on the left. Conte also rested Fiorentina midfielder Federico Bernardeschi on Saturday, but he will return to training on Sunday.
