AC Milan's Carlos Bacca gets one-game ban after Juventus outburst

AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca has been banned for one game for his conduct after the final whistle of the controversial 2-1 defeat to Juventus last weekend, a Lega Serie A disciplinary statement has said.

Milan lost to a disputed 97th-minute penalty and Bacca had to be dragged away from a confrontation with the referee by his coach Vincenzo Montella.

He had already been substituted having scored his side's goal but raced onto the pitch to remonstrate with the officials, with the ban being imposed for verbal insults.

It means he will miss the clash with Genoa at the weekend and return for the trip to Pescara on April 2, while he has also been ordered to pay a fine of €10,000.

Alessio Romagnoli will also be missing against Genoa after picking up his fifth booking of the season in Turin, while Jose Sosa, sent off at the Juventus Stadium for two bookable offences, has also been banned for one game.
