Juventus extended their lead at the summit of Serie A to five points with a 2-1 win at home to Udinese on Saturday.
Paulo Dybala's set-piece double saw Juventus come from behind to seal a fourth straight league victory.
Udinese, with former Juventus boss Luigi Delneri in charge for the first time, went ahead through Jakub Jankto's strike, although Gianluigi Buffon should have saved his 20-yard shot.
Dybala equalised before half-time with a superb free kick and calmly tucked away a penalty early in the second half.
A counter-attacking masterclass saw Roma earn a 3-1 victory against Napoli at Stadio San Paolo.
Napoli dominated the opening 45 minutes, testing Wojciech Szczesny on numerous occasions but could not break the deadlock before Edin Dzeko gave the visitors the lead just before the break.
Dzeko doubled Roma's lead shortly after the interval before Kalidou Koulibaly headed home to give the hosts a lifeline with over half an hour of play remaining.
But Mohamed Salah sealed the win for Roma with five minutes left as he coolly slotted in off the post at the end of another superb counter-attack.
Struggling Pescara scored an own goal, had a man sent off and missed a penalty in their 1-1 draw at home to Sampdoria.
The hosts went behind in the 12th minute when Hugo Campagnaro nodded a cross into his own net, but the Argentine defender made amends by heading the equaliser 11 minutes later.
Pescara lost Andrea Coda to a second yellow card in the 45th minute, but had a chance to go in front from the spot six minutes after the break. Gianluca Caprari, though, could only fire his effort straight at Emiliano Viviano.
