AC Milan have responded to claims made by the agent of former coach Clarence Seedorf that they had done nothing to prevent their players from criticising the Dutchman in recent interviews. - Paul: Kaka exit an opportunity for Milan Deborah Martin, who represents Seedorf, told Italy's ANSA agency that she was surprised by the number of critical interviews given by AC Milan players and staff members, such as Giampaolo Pazzini, Riccardo Montolivo and Mauro Tassotti, in which Seedorf's four-month spell in charge of the club was condemned. "Generally, at top international clubs at this level it is against club rules for players and employees to make these kinds of statements without informing or obtaining permission from their club first," Martin said. Since Milan had not censored any of the recent remarks, Martin insinuated that they had instead encouraged them. That, according to the Serie A club, is not the case. "AC Milan would like to specify that the interviews of its employees, which appear to have drawn the astonishment of Ms. Deborah Martin -- Clarence Seedorf's agent -- were given by the respective interviewees who expressed their own views, without any preventative intervention on the part of the club," read a statement on the club's official website. Seedorf was relieved of his duties in June only four months after replacing Massimiliano Allegri at the helm. He still has two years left to run on his contract with the Rossoneri with Martin currently negotiating a settlement for her client.
