Andrea Pirlo says he has not ruled out the possibility of ending his career abroad - as long as he is still enjoying playing football.

Pirlo, 34, is expected to sign a new two-year contract with Juventus in the next few days, committing his future to a club with which he has won three straight titles since joining from AC Milan in 2011.
But the Italy international midfielder told L'Equipe he could still leave Serie A for another challenge at some point, explaining: "I'm not feeling tired in the slightest.
"At the moment, I'm enjoying myself. The day I feel I am no longer doing that, I will do something else for sure. Fortunately, even today when I arrive for training every morning, and when I play at the weekend, I'm always happy -- and I think that's important.
"I hope to play another few years with Juventus, as I'm happy here. I would have liked to have given it [playing abroad] a try and I've had plenty of opportunities in the past but each time I decided to stay in Italy. But let's see in the future -- why not?"
Pirlo said he would look back fondly on a career that has seen him win five Serie A titles and two Champions League triumphs, as well as the 2006 World Cup with Italy.
And he stressed that he would have no regrets even if he never won the Ballon d'Or, adding: "There are so many great players who have never won it. I'm happy with my career."
Pirlo's teammate Paul Pogba, whom he has advised to stay in Turin, could be a future candidate for the accolade. Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are both casting an eye over the France international midfielder -- but Pirlo believes he is better off staying where he is.
"I think he's going to become a really great champion," he said. "He's shown that ever since he arrived here. He's still going to need a bit of time to mature and for him to become one of the best around. He's still young. It's certainly better for him [to stay], and it's better for us too."
