Udinese have announced the signing of former Galatasaray and Liverpool winger Albert Riera for next season.

Riera, 31, who has won 18 international caps for Spain, failed to impress under Roberto Mancini at Gala and was released by the Turkish club in January.
Udinese announced on Monday, however, that the winger will join the Serie A outfit on a free transfer on July 1.
A statement on Udinese’s official website read: “Udinese Calcio can announce that we have secured, as of July 1, 2014, the services of midfielder Albert Riera Ortega.”
Riera began his professional career with Mallorca, while he has also played for Bordeaux, Espanyol, Manchester City and Olympiakos.
