AC Milan rule out Mario Balotelli sale

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists Mario Balotelli has no plans to leave the Rossoneri, despite rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea.

Paul: Kaka magic not enough

The 23-year-old's agent Mino Raiola told The Sun on Tuesday that "Balotelli and [Jose] Mourinho could be reunited" at Stamford Bridge, given the close relationship between the two.

Milan coach Massimo Allegri was adamant Balotelli would not ask for a release in January or at the end of the season when asked about the Italy international's future on the weekend and Galliani assured fans that the striker is committed to the club.

"There is absolutely no problem with Balotelli," he said. "Mario will continue to be our star. He is not going anywhere. He is a fascinating individual with global appeal. He will stay with Milan because he is happy here and has a long contract with the club."

Balotelli played the full 90 minutes in Milan's 1-1 draw with Lazio on Wednesday, which is likely to pile further pressure on Allegri.

But Galliani revealed the 46-year-old has the backing of his club.

"Allegri will continue as coach," Galliani said. "At the end of the season we will analyse the situation as we always do. "We are still in three competitions and all three of them can qualify you for Europe."
