Inter coy on Samuel Eto'o interest
Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri has remained tight-lipped over the potential signing of Samuel Eto’o.
Mazzarri, whose side claimed a 2-0 victory over Genoa on Sunday, has been linked with a move for Anzhi Makhachkala striker Eto’o.
However, when pressed after the match, the manager refused to be drawn on the issue.
"Eto'o arrives? It's not my place to speak. I'm happy to coach the team I have right now and we'll see what the market says,” he said.
Yuto Nagatomo and Rodrigo Palacio scored in Inter’s latest victory, and Mazzarri has been impressed by the Nerazzurri's start to the campaign.
"Let's not forget, these guys had not won for four and a half months at home," he added. "When we attack so much and do not suffer defensively, this is a good sign for me. It is important to feel the solidity of the team and not conceding a goal is central to this."
"After we scored we played some really good football and we were unlucky not to even score a few more goals."
