Juve play down Robben, Sanchez links

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has moved to distance the club from speculation linking them to Arjen Robben and Alexis Sanchez.

Bayern Munich forward Robben, 29, could turn out to be the player who leaves the Bundesliga champions in the summer with Mario Gotze set to arrive from Borussia Dortmund for £31.5 million.

Alexis Sanchez, 24, has struggled in his second season with Barcelona and has started only 15 La Liga games, scoring five goals. Sanchez arrived at the Camp Nou from Udinese and reports suggest he could be ready to head back to Italian football.

Marotta told Sky Italia: "They are two very good players. Robben is playing with great authority and with great ability in a club that is certainly the best in Europe at this time.

"Meanwhile, Sanchez is at Barcelona and he cost them an extremely large fee and I think he'll remain there. I'm glad that there are these links, but I really do not have anything else to say about them apart from the fact that I admire these two talents."
