Mauro Icardi has scored 20 goals in 27 appearances for Inter Milan in Serie A so far this season.

Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has reiterated his desire to remain with the Serie A club for his entire career in a Facebook Q&A session.

Icardi, who joined from Sampdoria in 2013, signed a contract extension until 2021 last October and he says he fully expects not only to fulfil that, but to sign another deal with the club.

Paolo Maldini has told the Planet Futbol podcast it is going to take a lot of time and money to make his former club AC Milan great again, but he would "be delighted" if he were given the opportunity to help them.

Italy coach Giampiero Ventura has said he cannot understand the controversy surrounding Andrea Barzagli's early release from international duty.
