New minimalist Juventus logo sparks Twitter backlash from fans

As you may be aware, Juventus have proudly ditched the classic club crest that has served them well for the past 46 years in favour of a new, streamlined "logo."

The Bianconeri launched the new design at a ceremony in Milan on Monday night, with club president Andrea Agnelli heralding the logo as a "symbol of the Juventus way of living."

As you might expect, the general reaction has not been particularly favourable, with fans queuing up on social media to lambaste the minimalist 'J' badge.

Juventus must forget about Paul Pogba and refocus - Sami Khedira

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti examines the lessons Juventus should be taking from after their defeat at Fiorentina.

Sami Khedira has said Juventus need to stop living in the past and must forget about Paul Pogba.

Juve lost 2-1 to Fiorentina on Sunday -- their fourth defeat of the season, one fewer than in the whole of the previous campaign -- and defender Giorgio Chiellini suggested they are lacking a dominant midfield player like Pogba.

But Khedira urged Juve to move on and said they have enough quality to win a sixth straight Scudetto without the France international.

Inter's Andrea Ranocchia 'receiving a lot of interest' from Premier League

Andrea Ranocchia and Juan Jesus
Andrea Ranocchia is the subject of interest from Premier League clubs.

Inter Milan are currently considering offers from the Premier League for Andrea Ranocchia, according to Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio.

Ranocchia, 28, has made just five appearances this season and was left out of the squad entirely for Saturday's 3-1 win over Chievo. His future appears to be away from Italy and Ausilio confirmed as much in an interview with Mediaset.

"Ranocchia is still receiving a lot of interest from England and we will talk with him about whether he wants to be getting...

Diego Maradona set to appointed global ambassador with Napoli

FC's Gab Marcotti looks at Dries Mertens stunning form for Napoli, and the possible return of club legend Diego Maradona.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has revealed that Diego Maradona will be offered a job with the club once he has settled his tax affairs with the Italian authorities.

Maradona, 56, spent seven years at Napoli after joining the club from Barcelona in 1984, leading the club to their only two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990, along with the 1987 Coppa Italia and the 1989 UEFA Cup.

He left the club in 1992 after testing positive for cocaine use, but has seldom been back to Italy since with the...

Torino's Sinisa Mihajlovic 'furious and disappointed with ridiculous result'

Sinisa Mihajlovic gestures during Torino's Serie A match against Sassuolo.
Sinisi Mihajlovic was exasperated by Torino's display against his former side AC Milan.

Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said his players were going to send him to the psychologist after they threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with AC Milan, prompting the Serbian coach to destroy an advertising board as he left the field at the final whistle.

The Granata led 1-0 before going down 2-1 to Milan in the Coppa Italia last week and Mihajlovic already warned his players then not to lose concentration when they are ahead, but worse happened on Monday night when they not only threw away a two-goal...
