Cesena coach Domenico Di Carlo has faith in his beleaguered side ahead of Saturday's clash at Sassuolo, despite their precarious position in the Serie A table.

Cesena have won just one of their 15 league games and their 4-1 home defeat to Fiorentina last time out was their ninth loss of the campaign.

Duvan Zapata has leaped to the head of the line at Napoli.

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez says Gonzalo Higuain is important to his side, but that Duvan Zapata is currently ahead of him in the pecking order because he is in better form.

Higuain has been left on the Napoli bench three times in the last five games, while Zapata continued his fine form with the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Parma on Thursday night.

Cagliari do themselves no favours as Juve strike early for win

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti analyses the title race in Italy between Juventus and Roma.

Zdenek Zeman's sides usually provide the opponent with a challenge, but his Cagliari team, despite some bright moments, allowed the strength of Juventus to consume it, with the Bianconeri winning 3-1 away.

One thing that has been evident about Juventus in recent weeks is the determination they have shown at the start of each game. Despite playing every three days and perhaps exhausted from the packed schedule and little rotation, each game has seen the Old Lady attempt to finish off the opponent...
