Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini: We will give everything to get into UCL

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini said his side will give everything to finish in the Champions League after their narrow 1-0 win over Frosinone on Saturday.

Mauro Icardi's header won the game, but Frosinone hit post three times and Mancini insists that it was tough game.

"Nobody had an easy time of it here," he told Mediaset. "Frosinone are trying to build their Serie A safety with home results and are having a great campaign. If we look at the first half, we should've already been 2-0 up, as we had four good chances and they disallowed a perfectly valid goal.

"We were always in control up until that point, but Frosinone had to emerge eventually. The first time they hit the post it was on a counter-attack, then from two set plays."

Inter are outsiders to catch Roma for the third Champions League spot as they sit five points behind having played a game more, but Mancini says the desire is there.

"Every game has to be played and we'll see where we are at the end of the season. We'll give everything we've got to leapfrog Roma, but it will be tough," he added. "As long as there are points up for grabs, we have to fight."
