Fabio Cannavaro has been named as the new coach of Saudi Arabian champions Al Nassr, signing a contract until the end of the season.
Cannavaro, 42, has the option to extend the eight-month deal for a further year.
The former Italy captain, who led his country to victory in the 2006 World Cup, is taking up a second overseas coaching position.

He had previously worked at Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande and now faces the challenge of lifting Al Nassr from their current seventh place in the Saudi Professional League.
Cannavaro replaces Jorge da Silva, who was sacked on Friday.
