Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said he would be interested in coaching at the international level.

The ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss said he "always had the curiosity of trying out" the possibility of leading a national team.

Iran ban on female fans at matches will end soon - FIFA's Gianni Infantino

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says Iran has assured him female fans will be allowed to attend stadiums "soon" after they were barred from a game he attended in Tehran.

The ban was imposed following Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990, but the Iraqi authorities hope that the hosting of Gulf football friendlies in renovated grounds will mean it can be lifted entirely.

The FIFA ban, which covered everything except local matches, was lifted in 2012 but reimposed after a match between Iraq and Jordan was hit by a power outage.

It has been relaxed to allow Iraq...

Netherlands name Ronald Koeman as new manager on deal until 2022

ESPN FC's Ale Moreno breaks down Ronald Koeman's appointment with the Netherlands, but says the lack of talent is the more worrying factor.

Former Everton manager Ronald Koeman has been named as the new Netherlands coach.

The appointment of the ex-Netherlands international was announced by the country's football association (KNVB) on Tuesday.

In a statement, the KNVB said Koeman had signed a contract "up to and including the 2022 World Cup," and he was due to speak at a news conference later on Tuesday.

Nico-Jan Hoogma, general manager of Heracles Almelo and a former defender, has been brought in as Koeman's assistant.

Koeman, sacked...
