Brazil top Colombia in Dunga's first game, Uruguay beat Japan

In their first game under new manager Dunga, Brazil squeaked out a 1-0 victory over neighboring Colombia at Sun Life stadium in Miami, Fla.

Neymar scored in the 83rd minute on a free kick from 22 yards out in the young striker's first game as Brazil captain. Brazil controlled 60 percent of the possession during the game.

The game also marked Brazil's first international competition since suffering back-to-back defeats in the semifinals and consolation matches of the 2014 World Cup.

In other international friendly action, Uruguay beat Japan 2-0 on goals from Edinson Cavani and Abel Hernandez.

Hernandez, who just moved from Palermo to Hull City of the Premier League, subbed on for Diego Rolan in the 65th minute and scored five minutes later to put the match away for Uruguay.

A brace from Lee Dong-Gook helped South Korea pull away from Venezuela for a 3-1 win in Seoul. 

Myung-Joo Lee scored early for the hosts to draw level with Venezuela, who got an early goal from Mario Rondon.
