Real Madrid and Germany could be without Sami Khedira for an extended period, with the midfielder taken to hospital for treatment after suffering a knee injury during Friday's 1-1 draw in Italy.
Khedira collided with Italy's Andrea Pirlo in the 67th minute and was carried off the pitch with a suspected knee problem.

Germany coach Joachim Low revealed the 26-year-old was taken to hospital, signifying the extent of the injury.
He said: "The fact that he had to go to the hospital is not good."
Khedira's team-mate Jerome Boateng admitted the incident soured the mood for Germany after a strong performance in Milan, suggesting the Madrid star is in a worse state than first thought.
"The atmosphere in the dressing room was sad," he said. "Not because of the draw but because it seems that Sami has been injured severely."
