Caretaker boss Mike Phelan hopes Hull's flying start will attract players to the club as well as boosting his own job prospects.
The Tigers' 2-0 win at Swansea on Saturday continued their bright Premier League start despite the well-documented off-field problems at the KCOM Stadium.
Phelan has only 13 senior players to choose from and, as takeover talks continue between the unpopular Allam family owners and a Chinese consortium, the former Manchester United assistant manager believes taking six points from six will help him boost his thin resources.
"The two results hopefully will make players want to come to this football club," said Phelan.
"We are looking to enhance this squad and hopefully now they'll have a different look about it when it comes to playing for this football club.
"The pleasing thing is that the players have said to others 'come and join this football club,' so hopefully we can get some deals done.
"If players want to give it a go, and they've got the right character and determination and they fancy coming to Hull, then we'll have you.
"But you have to fall into how these players go about their work."
Hull are in distinguished company as only the Tigers, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have 100 percent records after two games.
And Phelan said he is confident that the squad will be strengthened before the transfer window closes on Aug. 31.
"We're waiting to see if there's any developments," said Phelan.
"We're confident with some of the offers we've put out there.
"We have to do some business and I'm sure we will in the next 10 days.
"So let's get quality in which raises the standard, and then we'll have some decent Saturday nights."
Phelan took over last month when Steve Bruce walked out after he became highly frustrated by the club's ponderous approach to recruitment.
Wales manager Chris Coleman and former West Ham and Watford boss Gianfranco Zola were targeted by Hull, but Phelan has remained in charge and overseen wins against champions Leicester and Swansea.
The 53-year-old is keen on having a first crack at management after several spells as an assistant, and hinted that the board are ready to end the uncertainty over his future.
"Decisions are around the corner, they've got to be made," said Phelan.
"I'm sure I'll be in work Monday and for the Exeter game [League Cup] on Tuesday.
"All being well we conduct our business right and then we look forward to the Man United game on Saturday.
"The Premier League is a difficult league to get results in, but I'm enjoying the moment.
"I've got a lot of experience. I've been an assistant manager for a number of years and the next step for me is being a manager.
"Hopefully it won't be too far away."
