Hull City have confirmed that Steve Bruce has agreed to sign a new deal with the Premier League club.
Bruce, 54, took charge of Hull in 2012 and led the club to promotion from the Championship in his first season in charge at the KC Stadium.
The Tigers then followed that up by finishing runners-up in the FA Cup last year and into European competition for the first time, though the pressure has increased on Bruce this season as his side sit five points from the drop zone in 15th place.

However, the club has backed the former Manchester United defender with a new deal, which is set to be signed within the next 24 hours.
Bruce said of the new deal: "I'm delighted to have committed my future to the club -- we have achieved a lot in the few years we have been here but this is just the beginning of the journey.
"Premier League survival is now crucial for us at this time, as is improving our training facility as we look to continue to grow and become a solid, well-run Premier League club.
"I would like to thank the owners for their continued support as well as the fans; we have had the supporters backing since we arrived here in Hull and long may that continue.''

Bruce was recently involved in a clash with Sunderland coach Gus Poyet during a 1-1 draw at the KC Stadium on March 3, for which the Black Cats boss received an FA charge for improper conduct.
