Hull complete Sagbo signing

Hull have made their eighth summer signing by bringing in Ivory Coast international striker Yannick Sagbo.

Yannick Sagbo has become Hull's eighth summer signing
Yannick Sagbo scored 22 goals in 90 appearances for Evian.

The 25-year-old has signed a two-year deal at the KC Stadium and has completed a £3 million move from Evian.

He joins Danny Graham, who has arrived from Sunderland on a season-long loan, in City’s new-look attack

Sagbo, who began his career at Monaco, scored 25 goals in three seasons at Evian and his recruitment ends manager Steve Bruce’s long search for two forwards.

Sagbo told Hull’s official website: "I am so happy to have signed for Hull City, and I am very grateful for the opportunity.

"I can’t wait to get going, and I look forward to meeting my new team-mates this weekend.

"I want to show the coaches and the fans what I’m all about, but not just with my physical presence. I also hope that my mobility and technical skills can add to what is already a good footballing team.

"I was delighted when the call came through. I had a very good feeling from the manager, that he really wanted me to come to Hull. That feeling was mutual.

"I am excited to get started in the Premier League. It is a league that I’ve watched closely, and I know all about it. I’m looking forward to the challenge, and I aim to score many goals."

Besides Graham, Bruce had already signed goalkeepers  Allan McGregor and Steve Harper, defenders Curtis Davies and Maynor Figueroa and midfielders Ahmed Elmohamady and George Boyd.
