Hamburg confirm United States forward Bobby Wood is back in training

U.S. international Bobby Wood is back in training with Hamburg ahead of Saturday's match against Darmstadt.
Wood, who missed Sunday's 2-1 defeat at Werder Bremen with a knee injury, could play a role against the bottom of the table side.
The 24-year-old forward -- in talks with Hamburg over a new contract -- has been a key player for coach Markus Gisdol, and the club confirmed on Twitter that he was back in training.

Last week, Gisdol told kicker he had been urging Wood to keep pressurising opponents when his side did not have possession.
"We showed him video footage of other players to underline how he can force the transition play by putting pressure on the opponent," he said.
"He's now become an example for other players to underline the significance of working without the ball."
Hamburg are 14th in the Bundesliga and have picked up 33 points, one more than Augsburg, the team currently occupying the relegation playoff place.
