Getafe have parted company with coach Fran Escriba.
The Primera Division strugglers announced on a brief statement on their official website on Monday evening that they had split with the 50-year-old former Elche boss, who was only appointed last June.
Getafe are second bottom of the table, two points from safety with six games to go.

Escriba has paid the price for his side's woeful run of form.
The Madrid-based club have not won since Jan. 17, losing 10, including a 6-0 thumping by Barcelona, and drawing two of their past 12 games to be dragged into the relegation fight.
