Germany want wins vs. Ireland, Georgia to finish Euro campaign says Muller

Thomas Muller insists a confident Germany will go into their final two European Championship qualifiers aiming for victories to seal their passage in style.

Germany only need a point in Dublin on October 8 to clinch their place in next summer's finals in France following their 3-2 win over Scotland.

But Muller enjoyed Germany's dominant performance at Hampden and wants to continue in the same manner against the Republic of Ireland.

Muller, whose team finish off at home to Georgia, told the German FA's website: "We want to win the last two games now. We go into these games with broad chests.

"The game against Ireland will be similar to the match against Scotland. Poland, Scotland or Ireland -- they are all powerful fighting teams who focus more on defence."

After netting twice against the Scots, Muller said: "We did well. We played better with the ball than we did against Poland. We were good on the ball, we made good decisions, we remained calm and played with a certain consistency up front.

"Patience and determination were key. We repeatedly found the gaps, although there was not much room."
